A program its originator thought would be small turned out to be big.
As a result, a number of people at Vance Air Force Base turned out to be smaller.
The inaugural Vance’s Biggest Loser program concluded last week with a ceremony in the fitness center gymnasium.
In all, participants lost more than half a ton, 1,453 pounds.
The event, which began in early January, was patterned after the NBC television show of the same name.
