As speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Rep. Chris Benge occupies one of the highest positions in state government.

Benge spent the morning getting ready for his flight, being fitted with a helmet, parachute, G suit and oxygen mask, and learning how to quickly exit an aircraft in case of emergency.
“It was a matter of getting me familiar with all the things I’m going to have to deal with in the airplane,” said Benge, who lives in Berryhill, near Tulsa, and represents House District 68. read more...
