Tommy the Termite Richard Johndrow, in his Tommy the Termite outfit, teaches children in Vance’s Child Development Center about crickets during a Feb. 19 visit. Johndrow works in the CSC entomology division. The children are studying a section on crickets and Tommy the Termite asked if they had seen his cousin, “Carl the Cricket.” He explained how crickets live and how soon the children will begin seeing the bugs.
