Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 09-15 honoree 1st Lt. Matthew T. Karmondy was named distinguished graduate in the T-38 track and received the Air Education and Training Command Commander’s Trophy. He also earned the T-38 leadership, academic excellence and flying training awards. Karmondy will next go on to fly the F-22 at Tyndall AFB, Fla.
Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 09-15 honoree 1st Lt. Lucas Fox was named T-1 distinguished graduate and winner of the AETC Commander’s Trophy. He also received the flying training award. Fox’s next assignment will be flying C-17s at McChord AFB, Wash.
Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 09-15 honoree 1st Lt. Eugene Salazar earned the T-1 academic excellence award. He will next fly the C-17 at Hickam AFB, Hawaii.
