Fuels folks help keep Vance flying

It takes a lot of fuel to keep the second busiest airfield in the Air Force flying to the tune of some 48,000 sorties and 71,000 flying hours annually.
But the people who keep that fuel flowing do so in relative anonymity, which suits them just fine.
“People pass by here every day and don’t understand what we do,” said Don Frioux, fuels manager for PRI/DJI, a sub-contractor of CSC Applied Technologies LLC, the prime civilian contractor at Vance. read more...
