Stillwater improves runway
Col. Wade Johnson, 71st Flying Training Wing vice commander, and Capt. Robert Lytle, 71st Operations Support Squadron airspace management, witness Stillwater Mayor Bud Lacy, Stillwater Airport Director Gary Johnson and local children cut the ribbon to open the new runway extension at the Stillwater Airport. The 2004 tax filing season ends April 15.
However, some taxpayers in the armed forces may get extra time to file.
Taxpayers stationed overseas, in a combat zone or qualified hazardous duty area or serving in direct support of a combat zone may delay filing their taxes for up to 90 days after the deadline, said Ed Myer, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance center manager.
