VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. — Seven members of Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 18-04 were recognized with awards during the class’s graduation ceremony Jan. 19, 2018.

T-1 Track

• Maj. Kevin Tracy was awarded the class’s Leadership Award, and is slated to fly the KC-135.

• 2nd Lt. Donald Tipton took home three of the class awards, including the Flying Training Award, Distinguished Graduate and AETC Commander’s Trophy. Tipton is moving on to fly the C-17.

• 2nd Lt. Patrick Mohr shared the Distinguished Graduate honor with Tipton, and also was presented the General Risner Award. Mohr also is slated to fly the C-17.

• 2nd Lt. Brianna Pauser was presented the class Academic Award, and will move on to fly the C-130J.

T-38 Track

• 2nd Lt. Zachariah Ankiel was presented four of the class’s six awards, including the Academic Award, Flying Training Award, Distinguished Graduate and AETC Commander’s Trophy. Ankiel has been assigned to fly the F-22.

• 2nd Lt. David Taylor was presented the class’s Leadership Award, and has been assigned to fly the U-28.

• 2nd Lt. Alexander Nielsen took home the General Risner Award, and will move on to fly the F-15C.
