ENID, Okla. — A 45-year-old Arkansas man was charged this week in Garfield County District Court with a felony count of forcible sodomy.
Michael Mark Havlik appeared Thursday for arraignment on the charge with his attorney Josh Davis before Special District Judge Brian Lovell. The judge continued the $15,000 bond posted by Havlik and ordered him to return to court Nov. 4 for a bond appearance.
Havlik faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the charge.
According to an affidavit filed in the case, Enid Police Department officers responded at 12:25 a.m. Aug. 27 to the 5800 block of KL Drive on a report of a sexual assault.
Officers spoke with a man who said his boss, Havlik, had sexually assaulted him, according to the affidavit. The man said he and Havlik were drinking heavily that night. He said he awoke to Havlik straddling him and attempting to kiss him while making "strange" grunting noises.
The man said he punched Havlik and told him to "knock it off," according to the affidavit. The man said he awoke a second time to Havlik straddling him and making grunting noises. The man said this time he felt "something warm" between his legs and believed it be Havlik's genitals.
The man told police he could feel Havlik's mouth around his groin area, according to the affidavit. The victim said Havlik might have possibly put the victim's penis in his mouth.
