ENID, Okla. — Stride Bank Center is playing host to the OkFutures Moving Forward: 2019 Professional Development Conference, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 2.

Sponsored by Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness, the conference is $15 to attend, and will cover important topics to parents, teachers and other professionals who work with young minds.

Subjects are to include trauma-informed care, infant and toddler care, brain development, the importance of play and teacher self-care.

Qualifying attendees will receive a $40 stipend, and professionals can earn six formal training hours, a conference release said.

Enid is one of eight locations hosting the conference.
