ENID, Okla. — Enrollment is open until Sept. 11, 2019, for Academic Improvement Classes at Lincoln Adult Education Center, according to an Enid Public Schools release.

Those looking to enroll can do so at Lincoln, 600 W. Elm, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays or call (580) 366-7200. Only individuals 18 years or older may enroll, according to the district, and seating is limited.

The free classes are designed to help prepare students for the new high school equivalency test, as well as improve academic skills, according to the release.

"Students receive academic assessments to ensure proper placement. Curriculum includes instruction by quality teachers and reinforcement through the school’s computer lab software," the release states.

Math, English, science and social studies courses are available. Classes begin Sept. 3 and will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
