ENID, Okla. — Enid Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two women recorded on a convenience store's surveillance cameras.

On Feb. 25, officers were sent to Grand Express, 2305 N. Grand, for a report of a theft.

The owner said on Feb. 24, 2019, two white women entered the store. The owner said one of the women had a hat on, went to the beer cooler and grabbed some beer cans. The owner said that the other woman engaged the clerk several times while the other woman went to the cooler and got the alcoholic beverages.

The owner said he watched the video from the store and could see the woman with the hat sit the alcoholic beverages down and get a fountain drink. She then gives the fountain drink to the other woman, who then walks toward the counter. The woman in the hat is seen on video putting the cans in her purse and in her jacket pocket and walking out of the store.

Police are asking anyone who can identify the women to contact them.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest or prosecution of this or any crime can report an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233, www.enid.org/departments/police or text to 274637, typing “Enid” and a message in the text box.

Those submitting a tip could earn a reward up to $1,000 and will not be required to testify nor be identified.
