CUSHING, Okla. — The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a 4.3 magnitude earthquake near Cushing on north-central Oklahoma.
The USGS reports the quake was recorded at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday two miles southwest of Cushing — about 50 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
Cushing police say there are no reports of damage or injuries.
Smaller earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 and 2.4 were also recorded by the USGS Tuesday. The 3.0 magnitude quake occurred 11 miles east of Perry and the 2.4 magnitude temblor struck about 3 miles northeast of Cherokee.
